About Elias, Raphael & Ross

Elias was a very productive painter and developed his own unique style. You could call it naive, iconic or symbolic – but he transfered energy through color and form to the canvas. He painted with his fingers and was active right to the end of his life.

Elias De Mohan was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1923 in a family of poor peasants from Romania. He was baptised William David Dumitru in the Catholic faith.

In 1930 he returned to Romania with his family to live in a small village for seven years. At the age of 14 he left the village and his family and returned to Detroit.

He had always loved music and singing, but by the age of 17 he had discovered it´s power. He remembered going by a music store and stopping to listen to the music that was being played. The music was so beautiful that it touched him deeply and he began to cry. He wanted to find a way to participate in something so beautiful, and when he discovered the Detroit Opera Society he joined it. That started him on the path to discover what sound, music and the voice can do to heal the feelings and emotions. He studied operatic singing for 17 years.

After the Second World War, he began his education and in three years graduating from Iolani High School in Honolulu. Elias went on to study music at Oberlin College in Ohio and social science at the University of Colorado.

He thought his singing would give him long sought after acceptance, but instead it stirred up the Kundalini resulting in tremendous pain, fear and doubt. To experience Kundalini without falling apart, we must first have a strong sense of self-acceptance ‒ something he did not have at the time.

During a great time of discovery in the 1950’s, he was living in New York City and working at the YMCA in many different departments of management—in other words, he was doing ‘group work’. The idea of doing group work was another intuitive response he had when he was reading some of Alice Bailey’s books.

When he moved from New York City to Pennsylvania in 1959, he was led to be part of a group with metaphysical teachings. In 1960, in Pittsburgh, Elias met with his teacher, Neva Del Hunter, and they formed a group for metaphysical instruction. In 1965, he was led to join a metaphysical group in Los Angeles, so he moved to California and lived there for the next three and a half years.

In the California group he acquired a good background in metaphysical matters and systems of the past. As he continued in the group, people began to ask him to do consultations, but he kept saying, “I can’t do that. I don’t know how.” Even his teacher felt he wasn’t ready, but he started to do consultations and past life sessions anyway as he began to surrender to people’s needs. Soon he realized that he could give people the information they needed for their process of growth and change. He began to provide consultations for those who wanted to transform through work with sound and color.

With the experiential background in this group he left California for Texas. It was in Texas that he discovered he was going to be instrumental in bringing in a system for personality transformation through vibrational sound, color, music, voice and awareness. He really didn’t know what it meant at the time! Since then his knowledge of the system has been continually expanding and he has come to learn that it’s an eternal process.

In 1970 he established the Esoteric Philosophy Center in Houston, Texas and thus began a major phase of discovery — how to take intuition and externalize it into a system.

People at the Center then began to ask for the vibration of sound and color system and he was still saying, “I don’t know how to do it.” One night he woke up and he was told, “Do it now”! The authority of Soul is the real authority! At this point he also started a lifelong relation to his guide Djwhal Khul.

Creation takes action and the willingness to experience. So he said to a group of six interested students, “Let’s be guinea pigs and see what happens with this system.” All of a sudden as he got up to speak, he spoke for an hour or more not even realizing how many words were being said. That is how the system started.

Because Elias had studied for the opera for 17 years; he learned the importance of practice, participation and willingness. The aim is not to become opera singers, but to use the voice with diaphragmatic breathing.

After several years of participation, many people at the Esoteric Philosophy Center in Houston asked if there could be a book. The book was first published after eight years of experiencing, observing and internalizing. Now, five printings later, it has been revised and expanded in 2008 with the addition of new experiences and concepts with Raphael as co-author.

Elias has traveled all over the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Denmark, giving workshops and lectures and has received thousands of people for individual sessions. He has taken groups on journeys to the world’s great spiritual places like Mexico, Egypt, Greece, France and England.

In 1990 he decided to leave Houston and moved to Arizona, where he continued the Esoteric Philosophy Center.

In 2006 he decided to accept Ross Sinclaire’s invitation to come and live in Calgary, Canada and to form The Universal Foundation for the Creative Heart. That year he also visited Denmark to do workshops and sessions, and here he met Raphael. They were meant to meet and be together and Raphael moved to Calgary early 2007 and he stayed with Elias until the end. Raphael and Elias were married, first by a ceremony conducted by the Hierarchy and later officially.

It turned out that the major work that Raphael was meant to do was taking care of Elias in order for him to achieve the crown of the work of his lifetime. The Hierarchy many times called Elias and Raphael “The Twins”, because they have been together in many lifetimes.

In 2007 both Elias and the Hierarchy recognized Raphael to be the successor of Elias when he passed on.

Elias fully ‘walked his talk’ and he lived his own teachings, he was a true mystic. He was in contact with many entities from the other dimensions, and sometimes he was so absorbed that he lost orientation in the physical surroundings. To him the other dimensions were just as real as the physical is for most people. He gave many transmissions from the other dimensions and he encouraged Raphael to do the same.

In 2010 he was initiated as a member of the Hierarchy, which is a very rare event, and that gave the Hierarchy a physical vehicle of a very high calibre to work through.

As a result of his last spiritual accomplishment in the physical form, he manifested a very high spiritual frequency that was imprinted on the collective consciousness to benefit the spiritual processes of future generations. After his ascending May 10th 2012 he has worked on the construction of a special energy vibration that could be called an “Inner Ashram” in the other dimensions. This was a special occasion because Vibrational Sound & Color has never had its own department in the Hierarchy before.

This new “Inner Ashram of Vibrational Sound & Color” is devoted to serving mankind through the system of Vibrational Sound & Color and it is now connected to and manifested in the physical plane through Raphael.

Elias De Mohan remains in constant contact with Raphael, guiding and inspiring him to move forward and expand the Vibrational Sound & Color system.

Raphael continues to experience and expand as he is a direct channel for Elias and the Inner Ashram of Vibrational Sound & Color as he gives transmissions of energy and verbal teachings.

Raphael was born in Denmark in 1954 and moved to Canada in 2007 to live and work with Elias De Mohan (1923-2012), the founder and creator of the Vibrational Sound & Color system. Since then he has co-authored our first book, edited the second book and is now writing the third book of the system. He was recognized by Elias and the Hierarchy as the one to succeed Elias after his passing.

There are three major life themes of experiencing that runs through the life of Raphael:

The first theme started when he was 7 years old as he began to receive lessons in classical piano, he continued these lessons till he was 17. At the age of 14 he started taking lessons in church organ and classical guitar. He had the intention of studying at the Music Conservatorium of Copenhagen.

This musical training and education stopped from one day to another when he, at the age of 17 years, had a major life changing experience. The experience was spiritual in nature and coming from a dimension he had no knowledge about at all and it drove him into a mental breakdown where deep existential angst became his daily life. Everything fell apart and he struggled for survival for some years and after three unsuccessful attempts of committing suicide he decided to work through it instead.

This event initiated the two other major life themes.

The second life theme started when he became passionately interested in a spiritual search and found his first East Indian meditation teacher when he was 21 and he remained committed to him till the teacher passed away 8 years later. He visited his teacher whenever it was possible, whether it was in India, Malaysia or Europe. After that he has practiced and studied different spiritual approaches like Tibetan Buddhism, Theosophical Philosophy and western contemporary spiritual systems.

The third major theme that grew out of the life changing event was an exploration of psychology by going through his own psychotherapy, which he started in his late twenties. This let him in his thirties to be educated and trained as a Gestalt therapist as well as a body psychotherapist. During this time he started his work as a psychotherapist. After that he studied Music Therapy at the University and here his life themes of music and psychology began integrating.

Up until he moved to Calgary in 2007 he was working as a psychotherapist, as a team leader in social rehabilitation, as a teacher in psychology and psychiatry in the school of Health & Social Education and later on as a self-employed psychotherapist, lecturer and as a counsellor/supervisor for the staff in social psychiatric institutions.

In the mid-1980s Raphael had an extremely powerful dream, very detailed and it had three parts. It started in Africa, continued in Denmark and ended in India. In this dream Raphael became the servant of a spiritual teacher; a very gentle and loving elderly man, half bald with grey hair and glasses. He couldn’t figure this dream out so he worked with the dream in several psychotherapy sessions, but no satisfying answers came.

Later on he realized that the dream described his life from when he was 17 years old until after Elias ascended in 2012, so the dream was also a prediction. After that Raphael was subconsciously looking for this elderly teacher, and when he met Elias in Denmark in 2006 everything fell into place, Raphael recognized Elias as the teacher from his dream. The dream even predicted what happened when Elias ascended and afterwards.

The dream ended with a ceremony where this teacher opened the sky and an amazing spiritual energy descended – very much like the imprint that Elias manifested the last days of his life and the energies that come through the ”Inner Ashram of Vibrational Sound & Color”. When Raphael was introduced to the system of Vibrational Sound & Color around year 2003 he slowly started the processes of synthesizing the knowledge of these three major life themes into a spiritual context, this process accelerated when he moved to Calgary in 2007 to live with Elias. After Elias ascended in 2012 this process has further intensified and has become a great part of Raphael’s way of expanding the system.

By going through the experiences of his own psychotherapy he discovered that these forms of psychotherapy contain a tremendous knowledge of human developmental processes, and he found that most spiritual systems do not cover these very important aspects. He is now synthesizing his knowledge of developmental processes with the system of Vibrational Sound & Color and this forms the basis of what he calls ‘esoteric psychology’.

Raphael is now being guided by the Ascended Elias De Mohan and the Inner Ashram of Vibrational Sound & Color. He is appointed as the spiritual teacher of the enlightened teachings of Vibrational Sound & Color and is working on the further development of the system.

Ross Sinclaire, Raphael and Elias De Mohan founded ‘The Universal Foundation for the Creative Heart’ in 2007 to be the main vehicle for the teachings of the system.

Ross was born in a small town in Southern Saskatchewan and grew up in Moose Jaw. As a young boy he was rather hyperactive and would have been diagnosed as ADHD in current times. He was brought up in an evangelical Christian home where he was taught that non-believers would burn in Hell for eternity. He rejected this and became very much a rebel. He moved to Calgary after high school and took up the plumbing trade. He started his own business at age 30 which turned out to be quite successful. He had always struggled with sleep and by age 33 this had become very extreme. He was only sleeping about an hour a day when things really got out of hand and he got into a wrestling match with three cops and ended up in jail. From there he was put into the forensic unit of the hospital, a lock-up ward for criminally insane people. He was diagnosed as having an extreme case of bi-polar disorder and prescribed large doses of lithium, a quite toxic remedy. He ended up sleeping 18 hours a day and went in the opposite direction, extreme depression. He pushed himself to go back to work and found that he could not begin to function effectively. He could not think clearly with this medication and he decided to stop taking it, going against the doctor’s orders. He came back to a relative balance; however, he was very fearful that the manic episodes would return. It was at this time in 1980 that Ross met Elias who at that time lived in Texas and was invited to Calgary to present a workshop and do past life sessions for people. Ross attended the workshop and was fascinated with Elias and what he was presenting. He booked a session with Elias so he could ask questions about his bi-polar disorder. He was informed by Elias that there was nothing wrong with him and that his soul was putting him through this troubling experience to wake him up to the fact that he was the “incarnated personality” of an evolved soul and that if he made the effort to connect with the soul his future could be very different of some service to humanity. He told Ross, in a quite forceful way, that he judged everyone and everything. Ross was shocked by this and, after asking several of his friends, he was shocked to realize that they saw him exactly that way. He came to the shocking realisation that he had no idea how he came across to people. This was a life changing realisation for him and he began to monitor his attitudes from that time forward. He was pleased that he had met this incredible being that could see right through him and he was determined to stay in touch with him.

Elias also told Ross that he had inventions to bring into being, something that was quite a surprise to Ross as he had never really considered himself as being inventive. Ross began to work with the system of vibrational sound and color and had regular consultations with Elias. The system helped with his bi-polar condition and he was able to stay off any medications. Over time his inventive abilities began to manifest as he started to question the engineered designs of mechanical systems he was contracted to do in his plumbing and heating business. He began designing systems which incorporated his own inventive ideas and the engineers worked for him under what is known as design/build contracts. In 2007 he patented the “Sinclaire Multi-story Water Distribution System” in both the US and Canada, a system his company installed in ten high rise buildings in Calgary saving an average of well over $1 million per building. In 2010 he left the plumbing business to pursue a new invention which made green power from tidal and river flows. He patented this system in 24 countries, a system that was recognised by world class experts as having a long list of advantages over competing technologies. He, along with Raphael, moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to pursue deploying the technology in the Bay of Fundy, home to the fastest moving tides in the world. He was unable to raise the $10M he needed for this deployment and in 2025 he retired from the tidal energy business with the knowledge that it was going to be too expensive compared to other renewables like wind or solar. During this period, Ross gained a great deal of experience and understanding of the politics of green energy in North America and Europe as well as politics in general.

Throughout this whole period Ross supported the writings of Elias and Raphael and was a close associate to them both. He helped with the editing of Journey Towards Soul Consciousness. At the same time, he was a student of both Elias and Raphael and continues to consult with Raphael on a regular basis. Now that Raphael has moved back to Denmark and Ross has left the tidal business, he has decided to teach the Vibrational Sound and Color System in Nova Scotia. As he pursues this work he feels that he will become more aware of how to teach this esoteric philosophy and inhabit his position within the Inner Ashram of Vibration Sound Color. He has much to share in the way of experienced knowledge as he soon to be 80 years old. He continues to work towards a high state of spiritual development known as “detached involvement”. He looks forward to this new challenge to teach, share, learn and expand.
