A life redirected toward meaning
Ross was born in southern Saskatchewan, grew up in Moose Jaw and later moved to Calgary, where he built a successful plumbing business. A period of profound sleep deprivation and mental-health crisis became a turning point in his search for understanding. In 1980 he met Elias De Mohan, whose grounded approach to consciousness, sound and color gave Ross a new framework for his experience.

Inventor & entrepreneur
Ross has spent decades turning practical problems into working systems. His innovations include a patented water-distribution system and patented approaches to tidal and river energy. After relocating to Halifax, he continued this work before retiring from tidal-energy development in 2025.
Carrying the teaching forward
As a close associate and student of Elias, Ross supported the books and helped edit Journey Towards Soul Consciousness. Today he serves as Executive Director of the Universal Foundation for the Creative Heart and offers the teaching in Nova Scotia.

Ross’s journey
Ross Sinclaire was born in a small town in southern Saskatchewan and grew up in Moose Jaw. Energetic and rebellious as a young person, he questioned the fear-based religious ideas he encountered and began searching for a more direct understanding of life and responsibility.
A life-changing meeting
After high school Ross moved to Calgary, entered the plumbing trade and started a successful business at thirty. At thirty-three he experienced severe sleeplessness and a mental-health crisis that led to hospitalization and a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. In 1980 he met Elias, who had been invited from Texas to present a workshop and offer individual sessions. Their first conversations challenged Ross to examine how strongly he judged other people and how little he understood the effect of his attitudes. That realization began a lifelong practice of self-observation.

Work, invention and service
As Ross worked with Vibrational Sound and Color and continued regular consultations with Elias, his inventive abilities found practical expression. He began redesigning mechanical systems through design-build contracts. In 2007 he patented the Sinclaire Multi-story Water Distribution System in Canada and the United States. His company installed the system in ten Calgary high-rise buildings, creating substantial savings on each project.
In 2010 Ross left the plumbing business to pursue a tidal and river-flow power system, which he patented in twenty-four countries. He and Raphael moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to explore deployment in the Bay of Fundy. Although the project was not financed at the scale required, it gave Ross extensive experience of green-energy technology and policy in North America and Europe. He retired from the tidal-energy business in 2025.
The Foundation and teaching
Ross remained closely connected with Elias over decades, including several extended visits to Scottsdale. When a new centre there did not materialize, Ross invited Elias to Calgary in 2006. Raphael joined them in 2007, and together they established the Universal Foundation for the Creative Heart. Ross supported the first two books and later helped edit Journey Towards Soul Consciousness.
After Raphael returned to Denmark in 2024 and Ross left the tidal business, Ross chose to begin teaching the Vibrational Sound and Color System in Nova Scotia. He continues to consult with Raphael and approaches teaching as a process of sharing, learning and expanding. His aim is a state he describes as “detached involvement”: wholehearted participation without losing inner balance.
